Become a Mentor for a Student chapter

Student Chapters are self-managed EWB-USA chapters and function under the guidance of faculty and advisers, giving students the golden opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a difference in the world.

Become a student chapter mentor to guide the next generation of students with your skills and involvement while overseeing project design and implementation.

EWB-USA OC places engineering professionals in mentoring roles with EWB-USA students.

If you are interested in helping a group of local students achieve their goals, please contact Gary Gilbert.

EWB-USA UCI (University of California – Irvine)

The EWB-USA at UCI students chapter undertakes their first international project in Endana, Kenya, a rural village about 100 miles north of the capital city of Nairobi. The goal of this project is to provide adequate water and sanitation for the school, which has recently seen a rapid increase in student enrollment. Adequate water and sanitation are the first steps in developing a healthy and sustainable environment for the school and the surrounding community. For more information, visit the EWB-USA UCI website.

See results of their 2010 trip in an article published in ZotZine, the UCI online magazine.

EWB-USA CSULB (California State University – Long Beach)
