Corporate Challenge 2010
Our 2nd annual Corporate Challenge event was held on September 18, 2010 at the University of California, Irvine. Under the theme of “Take the Challenge – Give the Chance”, this day-long extravaganza brought professionals together from different engineering firms in a fun competitive environment for one common charitable cause. All proceeds will benefit EWB-USA OC’s three humanitarian projects in Kenya, Honduras, and El Salvador.
The day consisted of four primary challenges (Relay Race, Tug-o-War, Trivia Challenge and the Odyssey Obstacle Course) giving teams the opportunity to accumulate points. At the end of the day’s festivities, the team from Diaz-Yourman and Associates touted the highest number of points and won the prestigious EWB-OC Corporate Challenge Winner’s Cup. It will be engraved in their honor, and they will hold it to display in their office for one year.
