EWB-USA OC would not be possible without professional and corporate involvement. Corporations can partner with us to help with three of our primary needs:
- Financial support – We offer several levels of sponsorship, see right. Moreover you can financial support a member of your staff, involved in one of our Programs, by sponsoring his or her Program assessment or implementation trip overseas.
- Member training – Help our members develop leadership, team-building and communication skills
- New memberships – Help recruit new, enthusiastic staff to work on our projects or be involved in the Chapter

About the Chapter:
The Orange County Professional Chapter of Engineers without Borders-USA (EWB-USA) is a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in emerging countries worldwide. A collaboration of engineers, researchers, students, and professionals from every walk of life, we work hand-in-hand with developing communities to implement sustainable engineering projects, while fostering responsible leadership.
EWB-USA OC is currently working on three programs in El Salvador, Honduras, and Kenya. For each project we have sent members on assessment trips to understand community needs and gather technical information. EWB members then design long‑term sustainable solutions and return to the communities for construction and implementation. To promote sustainability, construction is performed by the local community under our oversight. We educate the community on operation and maintenance such that all designs remain operative without additional EWB-USA intervention. |
